FRONT präsentiert ein System, in dem man Konflikte ausagieren kann. Die Anzüge sind symbiotisch, damit sie uns an unsere unfreiwilligen gemeinsamen Reaktionen erinnern, und einige Teile der Anzüge betonen die Konsequenzen von Aggression, indem Sicht oder Bewegung begrenzt werden. Das Agieren in den Anzügen ist kathartisch, setzt Aggressionen frei. Es ist aber auch entwaffnend – es ist schwer ernst zu bleiben in solch einem merkwürdigen und witzigen Setting.
Unsere Anzüge sind nicht nur das Medium, in dem TeilnehmerInnen sich ausdrücken können. Die Anzüge bringen die Spieler dazu, sich selten expressiv zu verhalten, und sie erlauben gleichzeitig, dies selbst zu erfahren und zu beobachten wie andere darauf reagieren.

FRONT presents one system in which people play at conflict. The suits are symbiotic to remind us of our shared involuntary responses, and they emphasize the consequence of aggression with parts of the suits that act back against the body of the wearer, restricting their sight or movement. Playing in the suits is cathartic, releasing aggression. It is also disarming – it is hard to remain serious in such an odd and humorous engagement.
Our suits are not just a medium through which participants express themselves; the suits make the players behave in rarely expressive ways, and both allowing this to happen to oneself and watching it happen to other people is part of the spectacle they offer.
