As a visual artist and filmmaker I am working research-based and cross-media, involving photos, videos, films, texts, installations, and interventions in public spaces. It focuses on the role of images and texts in social negotiation processes and the interactions between public discourse and action—particularly in the interplay between art, criticism and ideology.
My work is process-oriented — a serendipity approach that responds to chance and disruption. I combine the documentary with the poetic to reveal gaps and question hidden structures. I enjoy exploring places or events that seem to have been forgotten, are easily overlooked, or otherwise do not attract much attention. Behind this obviousness, worlds often open up that have remained untold until now.
