Carla Anacker moves between sculpture and dance.
She explores the body in different ways as an intersection of and point of intersection between self and world, taking the division between human and more-than-human entities to absurdity.
Between (among others) material, process, time, space, chance, food, sleep and weather, she sees herself as one of many actors at work in her projects.
Carla has been studying Integrated Design at the HFK Bremen since 2018.
She has been a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes since 2020.
She is part of the collective Tremenda Corporea, which works at the interface between performance, design and sonic exploration.
